Free Computer Training Course

Irish Rural Link is offering a free computer course called Getting Citizens Online. It is designed for beginners to help you feel comfortable using a computer.

  It is an introduction to the Internet, shopping online, emails and basic Microsoft Word processing. Fully qualified computer tutors provide the training. The course takes place over 10 hours in the Monksland area.

A thank you from Irish Wheelchair Association

 The Irish Wheelchair Association (IWA) Roscommon branch recently held their Annual Church Gate collection and would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who supported our collection and all the volunteers for their time and dedication to the organisation. 

  The funds raised from this collection will go towards the organisation’s services in County Roscommon and enables the IWA to provide the highest level of care to its members and service users year after year.

Roscommon Women’s Network will be closing from Friday, 28th of July and will remain closed until Monday, 4th of September. RWN charity shop will be closed from Friday, 28th of July until Tuesday, 8th of August.

Traditional music session in Hamrock’s

A traditional music session will take place on this Friday night, 28th of July in Hamrock’s Bar, Athleague starting at 10 pm, continuing until late. Musicians, singers, storytellers. etc. – all are welcome on the night.

  Come along and enjoy the music, song agus craic. There will be a raffle on the night with prizes to be won.
