Kilbride footballer set for ‘Underdogs’

Kilbride footballer, Fiona Tully, is one of the hopefuls hoping to make the cut on TG4’s GAA reality series ‘Underdogs’.

Tully will join other players from across the country under the watchful eyes of former Kerry captain and manager, Mickey Ned O’Sullivan, former Donegal and Gaoth Dobhair legend, Kevin Cassidy, and former Waterford player, Michelle Ryan.

The ‘Underdogs’ panel is made up of players who have yet to play at junior, intermediate or senior inter-county championship level with one or more dropped from the squad each week.

Those who do manage to make the final cut will be put through their paces before taking on “one of the most successful Gaelic football teams in the country” in a challenge match this December.

Tune in this evening (Thursday) at 9.30 pm to follow Fiona’s progress.
