Roscommon footballers look likely to have four home league games in the Allianz National League Division Two when the campaign starts at the end of January. The draft master fixtures list was released earlier this week and Anthony Cunningham’s men will begin their campaign against Cork at Dr. Hyde Park on the weekend of January 29th/30th.
Further home games will follow against Clare, Derry and Galway while Roscommon will have to travel to face Meath, Down, and Offaly. It has also been confirmed that the FBD League will also return in January and will be played on a knock-out basis.
The football championship will be played in a similar format to that last played in 2017 with qualifiers for teams defeated in their opening round and with quarter-finals taking place.
The All-Ireland senior football final is scheduled to be played on the last Sunday in July. Teams from divisions three and four and who do not qualify for a provincial final will compete in the new Tailteann Cup competition.
