The auction was held in Dalton’s public house, and was very well attended as reported by John Earley who conducted the auction.
The property opened at €80,000 and after a very competitive bidding contest between five bidders with 28 bids recorded, the property was knocked down to a local solicitor in trust for the figure of €150,000.
John Earley commented: “The price achieved was a very good result for such a property and it highlights the improved market conditions in the general area. As a result of this sale, we now require similar properties for disappointed under-bidders and cash clients. We offer a free pre-sales appraisal for your property.”
