A new Degree of Bachelor of Business in Real Estate (Level 7) has been launched by IPAV, the Institute of Professional Auctioneers & Valuers and AIT, Athlone Institute of Technology. The new part-time degree, BBS in Real Estate, is designed to meet the needs of a developing domestic and international property market that is seeing increased activity in residential, commercial and other real estate, with consequent demand for higher educational standards.  It aims to produce articulate, competent, professional graduates who can operate to the highest professional standards across a range of occupations, including Property Sales Negotiator and Property Manager. Pat Davitt, CEO of the IPAV said it presents a great opportunity for those working in the industry to further their learning.

Scheduled to commence in September 2018, it will run over three semesters and will take 15 months to complete.
