The Fregoli Theatre Company was founded in 2007 and has consistently produced critically acclaimed sell-out shows.
After receiving a warm welcome at the centre during its recent residency, the company set to work and have developed a work in progress called ‘I Salute Magpies’. It is a short showing of snippets inspired by Fregoli’s time in Roscommon and will be presented this Saturday (September 7th) at 4 pm in The Workshop Space at Roscommon Arts Centre.
‘I Salute Magpies’ explores themes of family, responsibility, land, rural Ireland, escapism, mental health and love.
It is a series of shorter pieces created, written and performed by the Fregoli Theatre Company ensemble: Maria Tivnan, Kate Murray, Eimear Finan, Jarlath Tivnan, Oisin Robbins, Tara Finn and Peter Shine.
The running time of this production will be approximately 45 minutes and while admission is free, booking via the Roscommon Arts Centre box office on 090-6625824 is essential.
This production is part of the 8 Degrees West Programme.
