‘Most Exciting New Country act’…
The very popular Ciaran Rosney and his super new band will provide the entertainment on what promises to be a fantastic Race Dance in the Abbey Hotel on Monday night next, 9th of July.
Ciaran and his band are on stage from 10.30 pm, with Sean Brennan providing live music in the front bar (9 pm). See details in advertisement.
With the wonderful weather set to continue, next week’s two-day race meeting in Roscommon promises to be a highlight of the summer.
And once the racing’s over, and you’ve enjoyed some socialising ‘down town,’ the Abbey Hotel is the place to be – and bring your dancing shoes!
Ciaran Rosney grew up in a country music loving family, in the heart of rural Ireland between two small villages, Ballycumber and Pullough, in County Offaly.
In 2012 Ciarán made the big decision to finally pursue his country music career. After spending a number of years teaching music he decided to follow his country music idols Ray Lynam, Vince Gill and Merle Haggard and take to the road as a full-time country singer. And what success he’s enjoying! He has been performing across the length and breadth of Ireland, meeting some fantastic people and receiving very positive feedback.
In 2014 he released his first country album called ‘Country at Heart’, which included the hit single, ‘Willies Shoes’.
In March of 2018 Ciarán launched his own five-piece dance band. In April of this year, Ciarán was presented with the Hot Country ‘Most Exciting New Country act’ award.
Don’t miss Ciaran and his band in the Abbey Hotel, Roscommon this Monday night!
