Kilglass stud farm goes under the hammer

Interest will be high among equine enthusiasts as a 119-acre residential stud farm in Kilglass goes under the hammer on Friday, July 6th.

The sale is being conducted by Kieran Leavy & Associates and Cox & McHugh in Strokestown on behalf of the representatives of the late Paddy Cline. Kilglass Stud at Kilglass, Strokestown, is a landmark in the north Roscommon area, having a fine reputation for the production of quality equine bloodlines.

The auction will take place at 3 pm in the Percy French Hotel in Strokestown on July 6th. A number of lots are being offered. Lot one is the residence, stables and outbuildngs on 70 acres.
