Breaking Through

Breaking Through is a national organisation that supports practitionersí working with people at risk. The organization promotes partnership and interagency cooperation. Collating documentation and sharing good practice is a fundamental aim of the organisation, as is campaigning and lobbying government with relevant issues.

Are you working with groups of people at risk and at times feel there are issues at local national and personal levels that you would like to discuss with colleagues in other areas of the county? The Breaking Through Roscommon Network is support group at local level for practitioners. The group meets in a central location and shares good practice, initiatives that are happening locally, nationally and explores issues that are affecting service delivery. The next meeting will be held in the READ Centre Lisnamult at 11.30 am Wednesday 17th June 2009. Michael Kelly Roscommon Youth Officer will be giving a presentation on reflective practice.
