The Think Energy minor team will have their next outing versus Castlerea in Boyle on Sunday 19th at 12 noon. The Feelystone junior team have a home game versus St. Michael’s on Sunday next at 12 noon in the next round of the Division 4 League. The intermediate team play St. Barrys in Tarmonbarry on Easter Monday at 2 pm. Boyle Minor Club informs all involved that there will be no training for under 8s and under 10s during the Easter holidays.
Boyle Ladies Club: The Ladies Division 2 League fixtures have been revised so that all teams in the group will play eachother. This means that each team is guaranteed six games.They are due to host Western Gaels on Good Friday at 7 pm in the Abbey Park and Western Gaels in the same venue at 2 pm. Boyle has entered two teams in the under 12 league. Their next game will be away to Eire Og on Easter Monday at 6.30 pm.

Coaching for u6, u8, u10 and u11 will commence in the O’Rourke Park on Monday 27th April at 6.30 pm. All are welcome to come and participate in this wonderful outdoor activity.

U 14: The Clann u 14 team have been preparing for the coming season with challenge games with Athlone, Ballinasloe, Tubberclair and St. Brigids and have played well in all the games.
Training for the u10s and 8s is commencing on Monday evenings at 6 pm in Johnstown. All players welcome.
There will be a club meeting this Thursday night, April 9th at 9.15 pm in Loughglynn Community Centre.
Our Race Night will take place in Creaton’s Bar, Loughglynn on Sunday, May 3rd.

Well done to Ger Nugent and the Roscommon ladies football team who beat Kilkenny in the quarter-final of the Bord Gais energy NFL. They go into the semi-final next weekend as they look for promotion to Division Two for 2010.

In the Tansey Cup this Saturday evening we play Eire Og in Ballyfarnon at 6.30 pm. In the Division 4 league next Sunday we play Tulsk in Ballyfarnon at 12 noon. The under 16 team sees championship action on Sunday when they play Elphin in Elphin at 12 noon. Senior training continues on Wednesday evenings. U-14 training continues on Tuesday evenings. The club would like to extend its congratulations to both the Convent of Mercy Senior Football and Soccer teams on winning the All-Ireland Senior A Finals in both sports. The club would especially like to congratulate Catriona and Deirdre Regan who represented Oran on both teams.
The senior season gets underway at the weekend (Good Friday) with the Sean Keane Cup Final – Oran meet Athleague in the semi-final at 4.45 pm. The other semi-final is at 6 pm between Tremane and St. Dominics. The final will be held on Easter Sunday at 6 pm.
Our Intermediates are due to play Rahoon-Newcastle on Sunday in Galway City in the League. So please check local newspapers and websites for the upcoming times and dates.
The junior ladies beat Michael Glaveys in Ballinameen on Saturday evening last. They now play Strokestown in the next round of the league in Strokestown on Good Friday. Training continues as normal.
U-12: Training continues on Monday evenings at 7:00 in the pitch unless othewise advised. U-14: The Feile competition commences on Thursday night at 7:00 at the pitch when we compete against St Croan’s. Girls are asked to be at the pitch at 6:15.
Intermediate: Training is on Saturday evening at 7:30 in the pitch. Our next match is against St Brigids on Friday April 10th at 12:00 in Kiltoom. Meeting in Four Roads at 11:00 to travel.

Congratulations to our Under 12’s who played their first match against Western Gaels last weekend and won by 3-12 to 1-3. They now go on to play Clan Na Gael on Monday 13th at 6.30 pm. All players are asked to be at Mulhern Park at 5.15 pm.

Congratulations to Scoil Mhuire, Strokestown on a wonderful victory over St. Aquinas, Belfast in the All-Ireland Schools final on a scoreline of 1-11 to 2-3. The team was helped in no small way by Tulsk lads, Cathal Rourke 0-5, Sean Donoghue 0-1, Dara Jones 1-2, Kieran Donoghue, Nathan Hunt, Thomas Conway, Ciaran McCormack, Patrick O’Regan and Sean Fleming.
