Strong local presence at Fianna Fail Árd Fheis

Recessionary times did not appear to dampen the enthusiasm of Roscommon Fianna Fail personnel as they travelled in large numbers to attend the party’s Árd Fheis last weekend.

The contingent were led by Minister of State Michael Finneran. Also present was Senator Terry Leyden, a number of Fianna Fail councillors and several new candidates who will run for the party in this summer’s local elections.

Meanwhile Roscommon Comhairle Dáil Ceantair was presented with an award at the 72nd Fianna Fáil Árd Fheis which was held in City West in Dublin at the weekend.

The presentation was led by Minister Noel Dempsey and was in recognition of Roscommon Fianna Fail selling the most tickets in Connacht/Ulster for the Fianna Fáil National Draw.
