There was a massive attendance at the fund-raising event held in Fourmilehouse Community Centre which was organised by the community and friends of Eilish Mullen. A very successful auction was held. A number of local musicians played.

Meanwhile a very successful fund-raising card game was held in Finneran’s Pub, Ballymurry on Friday night last January 9th. It was organised by the Mote Park Community on behalf of Eilish. The organisers were delighted with the grand total of €7,620 which was collected by this fund-raising venture. This sum has now been passed on to the Eilish Mullen Fund.
The organising committee wishes to thank each and every person who contributed to the success of the night – all who attended the game; people who bought tickets and were unable to attend; those who supplied the hampers, raffle prizes and goods for the auction; the people who provided sandwiches and hot food; Domnick Connolly who auctioned the lovely ornaments; those who assisted on the night and especially Joe Fahy for his co-operation in providing the lovely venue.
