Funding of over €300,000 for water and sewerage schemes in County Roscommon was welcomed this week by Minister Michael Finneran.
“This funding is yet more proof of this Government’s commitment to the Clár areas,” said the Minister. The allocations are for Roscommon are: €116,056 to Croghan Sewerage Treatment Plant, Phase 2; €92,084 to Ballyfarnon Sewerage Treatment Plant, Phase 2; €74,664 to Cloonfad Sewerage Treatment Plant, Phase 2; €73,407 to Keadue Waste Water Treatment Plant, Phase 2.
This brings to 91 the number of small public water or sewerage schemes in Co. Roscommon that have been approved for Clár funding under this scheme since 2002. This should facilitate the development of many more small public water and sewerage schemes under the programme in small towns and villages within Clár areas,” said Minister Finneran.
