Padraig Murphy from Rooskey was the lucky winner of a Toyota Yaris Car as part of the Kilglass Gaels GAA Club draw.
The club is in the final stages of completing a €1.2 million upgrade of the club facilities. The north Roscommon club has spent €760,000 to date on the project, which has a projected overall cost of €1.2 million. The development includes four dressing rooms, gym and showers, a press box, large recreation hall, kitchen, small function room and public toilets. There are also plans to floodlight the pitch.
The recent draw was the final phase of fundraising for the project. The dressing rooms are now fully finished, and the building for the recreation hall and function room is also completed, but has yet to be kitted out inside.
Second prize in the draw went to Eugene Quain from Carrickedmond and fourth prize was won by Michael Kelly, Granahan, Strokestown.
