Increase in public nuisance cases

Gardai in Roscommon town say they are dealing with an upsurge in petty crime and public nuisance cases on the streets of the town following the arrival of a large number of individuals into the town last week.

It is understood that as estimated 27 foreign nationals were staying in one area of town and that their arrival coincided with an upsurge of begging on the streets of the town and an increase in public nuisance cases.
