Sunday May 27th saw the Village Inn, Loughglynn hold its first ever darts tournament. One of the highlights of the day was a 120 checkout from Mick Egan who went on to win the trophy for highest checkout. In the end Egan’s fine form meant he defeated Shane Coleman in the semi-finals to book a final place against Sean Finan who had defeated Joe Crawley in the other semi.
A close game ensued with some fine darts on show and it was Finan who took the win on a 5-4 scoreline. Well done to all involved in organising a great day of darts. Special thanks to Shane Coleman who ran the competition so well and the Village Inn for their hospitality.
