Cattle Sale – Friday 1st June
Numbers of offer were smaller than the previous week.
The prices for all classes were well maintained. Weanlings, Calves and Suckler Cows will be sold on Fridays in conjunction with usual sales for Bullocks, Heifers and Dry Cows.
Dry Cows - Prices from €1125 TO €1640 per lot. Sample Prices: Simm 660 kgs €1250, Simm 680 kgs €1155, Char 615 kgs €1125, B.B. 680 kgs €1460, AA 810 kgs €1640.
Suckler Cows - Prices from €1400 to €1820. Sample prices: Lim Cow with Bull Calf at foot €1820, AA Cow with Heifer Calf at foot €1400.
Heifers prices from €605 to €940 over. Sample Prices: Char 615 kgs €1460, AA 560 kgs €1440, Simm 590 kgs €1210, Lim 595 kgs €1535, Lim 290 kgs €940, Char 370 kgs €975, 3 Char 283 kgs €900, AA 335 kgs €900, Char Weanling Heifer 320 kgs €895, Lim Weanling Heifer
