If you haven’t heard of Starman by now, then you must be from some other planet! Everyone who loves good music played with passion is raving about the best sounding four piece cover band in Ireland (or any land for that matter).

These spacemen have been getting a lot of recognition for their cover versions of the Doors songs, and recently the band won a competition in Germany For the best version of “Light my fire”, with one judge saying, “It’s as if Jim Morrison never left the building”.

The Doors are not the only band that Starman do great covers of, when you go to one of their live shows you can hear songs form artists such as, David Bowie, Kings of Leon, Bob Marley, Franz Ferdinand, Black Sabbath, ACDC, The Strokes, The Clash, The Beatles, The Gossip, Rolling Stones, The Kinks, White Stripes, The Killers, etc.

A “Starman” gig is always an out-of-this-world experience, so don’t get left out this Saturday night when Starman appear in Jack’s Live Venue, Roscommon.
