Egan reaches semi final

Mick Egan reached the semi finals of Irelandís Players Championships in Nenagh. 90 players took part on the day with Egan including wins over Andrew McCarthy, 5-0; John Herlihy 5-2; Ian Dobson 5-2; and Christy Fisher, 5-0. Having led 5-3 in the semi, Mick went down on a 6-5 scoreline to Campbell Jackson. It's easily the best run at a Players Championships event by a Roscommon player and keeps him on course to qualify for his third successive finals.
