Breen Fallon converted.
Corinthians started to take the game to Creggs and applied a lot of pressure deep in the Creggs 22. They picked a ball at the back of a ruck and were just stopped on the Creggs line when Edward Clinton turned over the ball and cleared the line. Creggs worked hard to get down the field with Cormac Haslam and Mark Dolan carrying effectively while Thomas O’Byrne took on the ball and made 30 metres, before off loading to scrum half James McNally who ran through to touch the ball down for Creggs second try.
Corinthians went on to score a try shortly after the restart, but failed to convert. Micheal Farrell intercepted a ball in the Creggs 22 and ran the pitch to score under the posts. Breen Fallon converted it to leave the half time score Creggs 19 Corinthians 8.
