With a total of nine more ‘A’ times achieved, it is worth noting that eight of those were reached by swimmers under the age of 11 years of age. The successes gained by this group are in no small way due to the coaching team at the club, with Mary Shannon, Marie Keane and Michael Moran, bringing this group through to ‘A’ standards, and then using the skills of head coach Sebastien Locteau to help develop them further. It is a team that is second to none in the sport in the Connacht region.
