Farmers from Rathcroghan recently met with
Environment Minister Dick Roche to discuss difficulties being experienced by
the farmers who live in close proximity to the site of the ancient seat of
Connacht.
The
meeting, which took place on February 21st, was arranged by Deputy
Michael Finneran and was also attended by John Cunningham, Director of Service
with Roscommon County Council and senior officials from the Heritage section of
his Department.
