Go Games

Roscommon GAA Primary Schools Football Go Games blitz 2010. All blitzes to start at 10.30 am. 

Kilbride (Girls Blitz) Friday 15th October: Ros. Convent NS, Strokestown Convent NS, Boyle Girls NS, St Anne’s NS, Summerhill NS.

Abbey Boys Roscommon (Dr Hyde Park), Friday 15th October.

Ballyforan, Monday 18th October: Fuerty NS, Mount Talbot NS, Athleague NS, Creggs NS, Four Roads NS, Feevagh NS, Ballintleva NS, Ballyforan NS.

U14 game

Roscommon U14 football development squad conclude their season by travelling to Louth this Saturday October 16th to play the home side in two matches in Ardee. All Roscommon players are asked to be at Dr Hyde Park Roscommon at 8.30 am to travel to game. 

U15 game

Roscommon U15 football development squad will play Laois on this Saturday morning October 16th in Johnstown at 11 am sharp. Players to be at the ground no later than 10 am. 

Primary schools coaching

Roscommon coaching and games development part-time school football and hurling coaching programme is currently underway. For the first four weeks all our coaches will be coaching before two weeks of Go Games blitzes will conclude our programme up to the Halloween break. After that their will be four more weeks coaching along with the U Can skills awards.

Into the West

Articles and photographs are now invited for the next edition of Into the West, the magazine of the Connacht GAA Council. GAA clubs and other units with items for inclusion should send them to the magazine’s editor Liam Horan at, or by post to Liam Horan, The Farmyard, Liskillen, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo. Clubs and other units of the GAA can avail of the magazine to publicise events they are planning to hold in the near future.
