Junior camógie team face Dublin on Sunday

Roscommon junior camógie team were defeated by Meath on Sunday last (see match report). The junior team play Dublin on Sunday next in Athleague at 2pm. This is a must-win game if they are to reach the last four in the league.

A poker classic in aid of the Roscommon county camógie team will take place on Friday, 5th March in Hannon’s Hotel at 9.30 pm. Tickets €20, raffle on the night. Please support. Tickets available from Kelley Hopkins on (087) 7960662 or any the county players.

The presentation of All Ireland medals will take place on Friday, 19th March at a  dinner dance in the Abbey Hotel. Tickets cost €40. Music by The Final Touch. Tickets available for members of the county board or county players. Please support this historic occasion for camógie in Roscommon.

U16 county training continues on Saturday at 10.45 am in Four Roads. The U16 Championship starts on Saturday, 13th March versus Mayo. The U14 Club championship commences next weekend. All games are to be played on or before 9th March. Home clubs are to contact Marie Glennon/Kelly with time and veune for games. The winning team are to contact the PRO and fixture co-ordinator with the result of games.
