Work at Windfield

Drainage and resurfacing works on the road at Windfield, Newbridge, on the N63 were welcomed this week by local Fianna Fáil councillor Michael Connolly.

“Problems with drainage at this section caused flash flooding and resulted in road surface problems, making the surface very slippery. Cllr. Connolly this week thanked the area engineer John Flesk and his team for the work done and the resurfacing, which, he said, will make the road safer in this location coming into the winter months.
