Ever considered getting Down N’Dirty in Brideswell? Now is your chance. If you are one of thousands of people looking for something to do this summer, something that won’t suffer from the effects of the Irish weather, then look no further.
One of the major highlights of the summer events calendar will take place right here in South Roscommon in the form of the Down N'Dirty obstacle course. This new event will take place on Saturday 28th July starting at 1 pm and is being organised in conjunction with Brideswell Pattern Festival.
For those of you wondering exactly what this entails it is a brand new fun and run challenge that will push you to the limit – a cross-country challenge that you will never forget full of natural and man-made obstacles, slides, net scrambles, bridges, ditches, rolling in the hay, hills, ponds and much much more.
Up for the craic? Then this is the challenge for you. You can sign up as an individual or a team, so if you are involved in a club – sporting or otherwise – why not try what will be the best teambuilding experience on offer across Roscommon this year?
Each participant will be timed with substantial prizes for the best individual male, best individual female and best team. There will also be spot prizes galore on offer on the day.
On completing the course participants can relax with a wash down followed by a BBQ where they can enjoy the Pattern Festival atmosphere, all included in the cost of registration.
Watch out over the coming weeks for a sample of what exactly the course will consist of and how you can get Down N’Dirty in Brideswell.
Registration for this hair-raising course costs €20 and participants are advised to register before Friday 27th July to secure their place although registration will also be accepted on the day.
The Down N’Dirty Course is for over 17s only and is open to males and females. Join us now www.downndirtyirl.com or on Facebook for more information. Applications can be downloaded by logging onto www.downndirtyirl.com. Discount available for groups, call Keara 085-1634078.
