Connacht Junior final on Friday

The Connacht Junior final will take place on Friday next @ 7.30 in Padraig Pearses Woodmount.

  The Roscommon girls will take on the Galway Intermediate team in a game which is great preparations for the start of the All Ireland Junior Championship which commences on Saturday 30th June with a home game to Armagh.

  Roscommon will be without Caitriona Regan for the year due to an ankle injury. The Leaving cert girls will also made a return to action after a couple of weeks off. Please come out and support the girls.

  The Roscommon Herald Junior club championship commences on Monday 25th June.

  There are 5 clubs taking part in the junior competition, Athleague, Four Roads, Oran, Padraig Pearses and St. Dominic’s. The first round will see Oran at home to Athleague at 8.15pm while St. Dominics will travel to Woodmount to take on Padraig Pearses at 7.30pm.   The first of the U-10 blitzes will take place in Four Roads on Saturday at 10.45am.

  All Clubs are asked to contacts Marie O’Brien with how many players and teams they will have by Wednesday.
