There was widespread sadness in Roscommon town and surrounding areas at the untimely death last week of Ann Costello of Cloonbracka Court, Roscommon.
The late Mrs. Costello (nee Brehony) was in her early 60’s and had worked in the Abbey Hotel for over two decades, having previously worked in Grealy’s Hotel (Main Street). Mrs. Costello was a very popular lady in the local community and among her work colleagues too.
The late Ann Costello is mourned by her husband Charlie, daughters Cathriona and Paula, brothers Pat and Peter, son in-law Eugene, grandchildren, other relatives and a wide circle of friends.
The large crowds which attended her funeral last weekend was a measure of the esteem in which the late Ann Costello was held. Her removal and requiem mass took place in the Sacred Heart Church, Roscommon and burial followed in St Comans Cemetery on Saturday last. A dheis De go raibh a anam.
